Annual Production: 17,000 tns.

Main Production Areas: Provinces of Kordestan, East Azarbaijan, Tehran and Gorgan and Gonbad.

Main Varieties: Amore, Aliso, Tioqa, Seqiuoia, Frenso and local varieties like Atabaki, Kordestan and Shemirani.

Nutritional Values: Strawberries are rich in protein, sugar, different kinds of acids, cellulose, calcium, as well as a high content of vitamin C and other vitamins like A, B and D. Several strawberries can supply the daily vitamin C requirement of the body.

Forms of Consumption: Fresh fruit, jam, fruit juice and syrup.
