Main Varieties: Yellow Prunes, Tashkandi Dargazi, and Bokhara Japanease. Santa Rosa.
Annual Exports: 180 tns.
Nutritional Values: Rich in sugar. Carotenes, also vitamins B1, 82 and C and minerals like sodium, calcium, iron, magnesium and with a high content of potassium.
Forms of Consumption: Fresh and canned fruit. Jam, jelly, concentrates, fruit juice and dried fruit.
Industrial & medicinal: Bitter kernel and its oil are used for lubrication.
