| Variety of
seasons in Iran has provided a good position for garden-
based and crop processing industries. Great amount of orange, apple, grape, pomegranate are produced in the country. There are about 270 units producing 1.000.000 tons of fruit juice each year in Iran. Investing for 2 units in processing pomegranate in south of Khorasan and Central Provinces is recommended. 150 units produce a yearly amount of 3.000.000 tons of tomato paste and 4 more units will add 20.000 ton to the total production up to the end of 1999. |
