1. Since the beginning of the Iran agrofood series of exhibitions in 1996, this international food, food technology and agricultural trade fair has established itself as the top event of the Iranian market. Iran agrofood is co-organized by experienced partners: fairtrade, Iran International Exhibition Company and International Trade Fair and Iran Handling Service. The exhibition owns a strong support by the Iranian Ministries of Agriculture, of Commerce, of Industry and of Jihad-e-Sazandegi.

2. At Iran agrofood'99, 362 exhibitors from 18 countries showed their state-of-the-art technologies, machines and equipment in the fields of agriculture, food processing and packaging as well as food products on 13.000 sqm gross exhibition space. 72 exhibitors belonged to the international participation coming from Canada, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Taiwan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. Official national participations were from Canada, France, Germany and Italy. The biggest participation came from Germany (17 companies), followed by France (11 exhibitors). Altogether, 71.000 visitors came to see Iran agrofood'99, of which 35.600 were expert visitors of the trade, coming from all provinces and regions of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

3. 99% of the exhibitors have already confirmed to definitely participate again or to seriously consider a participation in Iran agrofood 2000! With 71.000 visitors, Iran agrofood'99 has again exceeded its results by 42% compared to the previous year. 362 exhibitors coming from 18 countries and official international pavilions from Canada, France, Germany and Italy in 1999, point out a very successful Iran agrofood 2000.

In Iran agrofood 2000 there will be official participation from Belgium, Canada, France, Italy and Germany.
